COMPETITOR INFORMATION
LICENSING
The hosting organizations like Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) will require you to have a Super License or the equivalent. American Prototype Championship (APC) requires applicants to have a Super License or the equivalent, or you must have previously been licensed with an organization recognized by APC and have a minimum of three (3) years of racing experience in cars of a similar performance level as those in the Super License category. Verification of such licensing, types of race cars driven, as well as race results must be submitted to the National Licensing Committee, along with the New License Application if you are not currently in possession of a super license or the equivalent.

SERIES REGISTRATION
There is an annual registration fee of $175 to compete in the American Prototype Championship. Additional there is a $350 per event fee, all drivers are required to pay the event fee prior to the start of the race weekend.
TIRES
The only approved tire for each car is the Hankook Ventus tire in either wet or dry models in sizes as follows:
Front 300/660R18
Rear 310/710R18

Hankook Contingency
Tires purchased directly from us here at Hankook Motorsports (www.prototypetires.com) are eligible for contingency program awards as per the contingency program outlined below. We will review your claim and respond within three business days. You will be issued a gift card via email for the value of the contingency award. Please save this code and apply it at the checkout of your next order.
Usage Requirements To be eligible for this program, competitors must be using Hankook competition tires purchased from Hankook Motorsports (www.hankookmotorsports.com or www.prototypetires.com) on all four wheel positions. You do not need to pre-register. You only need to purchase the tires directly from us and make sure that you have our decals on your car. Contingency decals can be found here: https://prototypetires.com/products/contingency-decals
Decals Requirement: YES – 4 Decals. One decal must be placed above all four wheel positions.
Additional Information Awards must be claimed within 30 days of event conclusion and no later than December 31st of the year in which the race took place. Tires not purchased from Hankook Motorsports directly are NOT eligible for contingency. No other tire vendor decal or patches may be displayed on the vehicle or person. Proof of Purchase of your tires must be submitted. Tires must be purchased at MSRP from HankookMotorsports.com or PrototypeTires.com to be eligible for the contingency program. Competitors may only submit claims for the same size tire for which they can provide proof of purchase. Competitors listed on results as DNS do not count towards the minimum starter requirements. Prizes will be given in the same size as previously purchased by the competitor. If the competitor uses multiple tire sizes and wins less than four tires, the awards will be given based on the least expensive tire purchased. Contingency prizes have no cash value and are awarded solely as credit towards tires. Hankook Motorsports retains the right to change the program details at any time.
